William Brueggemann

William Brueggemann is a composer, songwriter, and podcaster whose work is rooted in a deep love of melody and emotional storytelling. Writing across concert music, film and game scoring, and contemporary songwriting, his music seeks to create moments of connection between performers, listeners, and collaborators.
He is co-host of the long-running video game music podcast Super Marcato Bros. and co-creator of the film music analysis podcast UnderScore. Brueggemann has contributed to film and television scoring through collaborations with GRAMMY/ EMMY winning composer Mark Isham and has written music for theatre, games, podcasts and concert performance. Currently based in the Twin Cities, he teaches in the Contemporary Music Program at the MacPhail Center for Music and releases singer-songwriter material under the name Will Rover. |
